JOURNAL (Written after passing test with flying colors)
Done with my test. I got the answers correct. I am thrilled. This is the first very successful test I have had. I have never had a teacher help me be successful in learning until Lenae. I am so happy! I need her forever.
Someday I will be a famous arther (author). I need to write books about Autism. I think I understand it well. I need a good education so I can do that. I hope that one day I can go to a university. I can help more people that way. I need a good teacher in English if I want to do that. I think Lenae is good but I think she is not an English teacher.

Teacher: We need to get you to the point where you type with the keyboard flat/ no one holding it
Cindi: NO, I need it held up.
Teacher: Why? Explain?
Cindi: I need it held up when it is tapped against my finger.
Teacher: Oh, I see. Well eventually we will move to no movement in the board and then you will see that you can eventually type without someone holding it. It will take a lot of practice.
Cindi: I hope you are right.
Teacher: Yeah, I think you eventually will, but maybe also more people will be more accepting of it being held up. Ido uses a letterboard and a ipad held up on a stand, but it is harder for him.
Cindi: I think it will always be easier to have it held.
Teacher: Maybe we should start reading passages about Autism and you respond to them to start writing a book- a draft.
Cindi: I like that idea
AUTISM BOOK
Do you need to stim all the time?
I need to stim all the time because it helps me learn. It makes it so I can focus. Sometimes I have a hard time focusing because it is too loud or too quiet. I need a happy medium.
I need to make sounds so I can focus. I like it when Lenae (teacher) talks fast because it helps me hear her better. I think she gets in trouble for talking fast because it helps me. I think it helps because I can hear so much at once. I think I need my family to talk fast so I can hear them too.
